About the athlete

Noor Vidts is a multi-event athlete who is one of the most promising talents going into the Olympic Games Paris 2024. Noor was born in the Belgian Municipality of Vilvoorde in 1996.

Noor has been competing in international championships in various disciplines of combined Track & Field events since she was 16 years old, and this has catapulted her to global notoriety. Besides her athletic successes, Noor also juggled a Bioscience Engineering degree at the University of Leuven.

Noor achieved her first international Medal in 2017 at the Universiade Games for the Heptathlon and has continued to excel since then. In 2021 she won the Silver Medal in the Pentathlon at the European Indoor Championships. She then competed in her first Olympic Games, placing fourth in the Heptathlon at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2022.

She achieved her highest result in 2022, finishing fifth at the World Indoor Championships in the Heptathlon and earned her first international Gold Medal in the Pentathlon, surpassing her country’s national record by 24 points.

Noor aims to continue her recent successes in the coming years with her sight set on qualifying for the Olympic Games Paris 2024 and securing her first Olympic Medal.
